Congratulations to our constructed Stuart Park All Ages All Abilities Playground WINNING the Parks & Leisure Australia NSW/ACT 2024 Award for a Playspace Over $500,000!
We are delighted that this Playground, completed on behalf of the City of Wollongong Council (and a month ahead of schedule!), received this recognition, beating 9 other high-quality playgrounds from across the State! In addition, we are extremely proud that we constructed 3 of the 10 projects nominated for this Parks and Leisure Award!
This prestigious Award is given to a Playspace which involves a range of stakeholders, contributes to the creation of a sense of ‘place’ for its local community and exhibits landscape and/or structural design innovation that delights and aids childhood development.
The recognition highlights the quality and inclusivity of the playground, which is designed to cater to adults with disabilities, and is suitable for everyone. The redevelopment of Stuart Park, adjacent to North Wollongong beach, has been a success making it a premier park that meets the needs of the community.
