Tic tacs, vaulting, cat leaps and more!
“The best Parkour park within Sydney hands down!” says Parkour specialist, Alexander Robinson, Founder of KongQuest Parkour. The official opening of Junction St Plaza at Granville held last week was a high-energy success! With the Mayor of Parramatta Council, Councillor Martin Zaiter, leading the ribbon-cutting and an action-packed demonstration by KongQuest Parkour, the event brought the community out in full force.
Parkour is one of the fastest-growing urban sports — think backflips, climbs, jumps, spins, and fearless movement through physical challenges — and now, Sydney’s got a brand-new park for it that we’ve constructed!
Alexander Robinson said that Junction Street Plaza at Granville was the most anticipated parkour destination for the community which will also be a hit with young people in western Sydney. After putting it to the test, he called it a gold-standard Parkour course featuring perfectly placed challenges, a mix of heights, grippy walls with smooth rails and seamless connections.
We're enormously proud to have delivered this urban adventure park for City of Parramatta Council, featuring:
- Full Parkour course
- Basketball half-court with handball court
- Table tennis area with spectator seating
- Street skating section
- Chill zones with hanging swings, seating & gardens
- Water fountain, bins, new paving & fencing
Tucked under the M4, this pilot project has completely transformed Warawara Reserve from an unused, unwanted area into a vibrant and fun space for sport, play and connection.
Our work included excavation, earthworks, irrigation, fencing, concrete and electrical installations, paving and much more to create this dynamic outdoor space. From seating to soft landscaping, we’ve crafted a place that’s sure to become a local favourite!
Come experience the thrill and vibe of Junction St Plaza — the new heartbeat of Granville!
