Sensational Rehabilitation Garden
The Outdoor Therapy Garden at Ryde Hospital’s Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre has recently been revitalised, creating a welcoming and functional space to support patient rehabilitation.
Our team removed the existing synthetic turf, refreshed and reconfigured paved areas, and introduced a new multi-surface walking zone featuring sand, mulch and pebbles for rehab walking training, together with removeable protective covers, to encourage sensory and mobility therapy. Works also included the installation of a compacted road base mound with synthetic grass new artificial grass installed to both this mound and additional level grass area, low sandstone boulders, upgraded timber decking, a painted walking track and wheelchair-accessible planter boxes.
The upgraded garden now looks sensational and provides a high-quality, accessible outdoor environment, purpose-built to enhance recovery and wellbeing for rehabilitation patients.
