Action-Packed Playspace

Excitement pumped through the air at the much-anticipated completion and open day unveiling of King George Park Inclusive Playground at Rozelle recently! Completed ahead of schedule to meet a tight and revised deadline, our team did an exceedingly superior job constructing this project to a first-class standard, both in terms of trade skills and quality workmanship!

This inclusive playground, undertaken on behalf of Inner West Council, allows for people of all ages and abilities to access action-packed play equipment, nature play balance beams and stepping logs, custom hand created, multi-level sandstone water play area with numerous water flow gates complete with an accessible sandstone water play table, flying fox, sand pit – and that’s just the beginning!

Located in one of Inner West's most popular recreation grounds adjacent to the Bay Run and Iron Cove Bridge, the park features shade sails which soar over the main play areas shading numerous slides, decking play structure, trampolines, spinners, rockers with an abundance of tables and seating. Additional features of this prestigious Playground include a purpose-built accessible amenities building, swings, extensive footpath and stair network connecting the various Park elements, custom handrails and fencing, softfall, line marking, bollards, bike hoops, bespoke entrance signage, and totem poles.

Not to be outdone, extensive sandstone works constructed have created numerous multi-level retaining walls (perfect for climbing on or taking a well-earned seated break), boulders and seating logs, all complemented with softscapes including trees, plants and an expansive turf area for families to picnic and enjoy the sprawling view!
