Country Adventure Playspace

Curtis Park Playground, Armidale
Armidale Regional Council

Curtis Park Playground in Armidale officially opened, celebrated at the grand opening with local and state dignitaries, local school kids and our Managing Director, Glenn Simpson, which is designed to bring joy and adventure to children of all ages and abilities.

Set within a safely fenced 1.6-acre zone, the playground has been expanded to blend nature and imagination with play. Many of the new features were inspired by the requests of local children and families, making this truly a community-created space.

Highlights include a WE GO accessibility swing, a soaring 4.5m mammoth net swing, natural rock yarning circle, climbing wall with varying challenges, and even a fun “mouse wheel”. The water play zone with its pump, sluice gate and misting gateway, invites children to splash and cool off on warm days. New shelters with BBQs, seating, paths, bubblers and native plantings make the space inviting for families to gather, share a meal and enjoy time outdoors.

This transformation has created an inclusive hub where children can play side by side and families can relax.
