The Kibo Reserve Upgrade is complete!

Cumberland City Council’s vision to create a welcoming space with diverse play and recreation opportunities for all ages and abilities is now realised, featuring two play zones: the Northern area with swings, spinner, springer and a nature play trail with teepee, climbing logs, and stepping logs; and the Southern area with a basket swing, play tower, monkey bars, seesaw and log trails.

Visitors can enjoy outdoor fitness equipment, a walking loop, shaded picnic spots, sandstone seating, feature paving, and accessible park furniture. New concrete paths, fencing, and signage improve access, while native plantings enhance habitat and create a striking Woody Meadow. A detention basin lookout with interpretive signage offers a peaceful rest point.

This upgrade has enhanced a wonderful local community green space for the people of Cumberland!
